Liminal Nook is a directory, not a host. We list public events happening in Greensboro, but we do not organize them. Always use your best judgment when attending a new group.

Meeting New People

The goal of this site is to help you meet neighbors and make friends. However, standard safety rules apply:

  • Public Spaces First. Most events listed here are in public libraries, parks, coffee shops, or community centers.
  • Trust Your Gut. If a group vibe feels off or exclusionary, you are free to leave.
  • Verified Orgs. Look for the "Managed by..." badge on events. This means the organizer has verified their identity with us.

Our Content Policy

We strive to keep Liminal Nook safe and welcoming. We strictly prohibit:

  • Hate speech or harassment of any kind.
  • Events that promote illegal activities.
  • Scams or multi-level marketing (MLM) recruitment events.
